Brodner's Person of the Day: Hillary Clinton and Matt Drudge

October 23, 2007

Dalliance of the Day

Hillary Clinton, showing Bill a thing or two, bussed right-wing web-news maestro Matt Drudge with a scoop on her reaction to Obama's attack. This, combined with her recently restated Iran war whoop, shows you (or she) can never be too right wing these days. And the right loves her back, sort of like people who believe in The Rapture who claim to love Jews. The front-page piece in the Times yesterday ends with this quote from Drudge: "I need Hillary Clinton. You don’t get it. I need to be part of her world. That’s my bank."

Hillary Clinton, Matt Drudge

PS: Mike Gravel has been banned from the next debate. Wonder why?

Uh, because he's wacko? Great on the war, but dumb as a bag of hammers on the "flat tax" with his idea of a "pre-bate" to make it progressive (or something...who knows what the hell he's saying.) That said, I'd vote for him before I'd ever vote for Clinton, no doubt about that.

Well, how common is it for someone in the debate to dare to mention the miltary industrial cycle and the way it moves, with or without Bush, now, with Hillary. They don't care, but we have to. It's our kids, our security and our money!

One again Hillary Clinton responds to tough questions with that terrifying robot laugh. What devil worshipping consultant test-marketed that and hoisted it upon the American people?

Mike Gavel and Denis Kuchinic(sp?) are the two most sincere and intelligent Democrats on the Dem's ticket. Too bad, neither one of them stand a chance. I like Hilary and Obama but they are mainstream politicians who know how and when to pander to their various audiences.

So let's clone someone with Kucinich's vision, Obama's voice and Lincoln's writing skills. Maybe with Naomi Watts' looks. Should be a woman.

Who says Mike Gravil has been banned from the next debate? When is the next debate? Banned by who? I will protest if I know who to protest to. Mike Gravil adds a great deal to the debates.
